LockedOn 14 Year Anniversary

The 14th Anniversary of LockedOn Games has arrived! Maybe I'm getting old, but a year feels like it's not that much time at all. Anyway, this means I have six years left to work on the projects I announced in my 10 Year Anniversary Presentation. But with big, ambitious projects on the slate like Broken Spirits, Hovel, and Motives, which will each probably take more than a year to make, I'm not sure how doable that is. However, I will keep trying to find ways to maximize my productivity and efficiency.
METHODS: THE CANADA FILES
Current status: IN PROGRESS

With File 05 released, all that remains to complete are the last two Hangouts, some missing extra features, and of course, File 06. File 06 is the reason I wanted to make Canada Files to begin with — the entire game has been leading to this final showdown. So it may take some extra time to get it right. I'm excited to finally get to bring it to life, after all this time thinking about how it will play out. I just hope that I have the ability to execute it the way I imagine it.
MOTIVES IS NEXT
Current status: PRE-PRODUCTION

Maybe this isn't a big surprise, but Motives will go into production right after I finish Canada Files. When I first announced Motives in my 10 Year Anniversary presentation, I was planning on finishing Broken Spirits and Hovel first. However, the other projects that emerged since then (Life of the Dolls, Canada Files), took the place of those projects in my overall plan. It's now been four years since I announced Motives, and with File 06 likely taking at least six more months to create, I think that the best thing to do is to follow up Canada Files directly with Motives. I've been trying to be as vague as possible about it because plans change, so I'm looking forward to finally working on it and being able to reveal more concrete details in the future.
That's all the news I have for now! Here's to another year of games!
Until next time!
