This past week, I worked on redoing the first scene, and I finished the sound effects. We also finished recording all of the VO for the three sequels. It was an amazing experience that I can't wait to talk about more in future updates!
I will announce the cast of Catalyst Wake tomorrow, so be sure to stay tuned for that!
The Evolving World Part 5: Mist is now complete! I'm super happy with how it turned out. It takes about 25 minutes to read, which makes it longer than all the The Evolving World animated episodes combined — and I made it in a fraction of the time it took to make those!
Now it's time to begin work on Part 6 — the next sequel. Because I don't want to keep referring to it as "Part 6" in these updates, I am happy to finally reveal the full title!
I'm excited to start working on Summit. It has a much different tone than Mist. Some very important characters come into play, and big, fundamental twists are finally unveiled. It's going to be fun!
Usually I would begin prepping for CGs and modeling backgrounds, but the first few scenes of Summit actually don't need any new backgrounds or character models, so I'm going to jump right into making CGs.
