The first day of the "Tenth Week" of Pageturner 3's development is done.
Here's what I did today:
- Implemented Scenes 10, 11, 12 & 13
I regret calling these updates "Weeks" now — I won't make that mistake again! It doesn't properly account for vacations, procrastinating, or other life events that would make an update come out in more time than just a week.
So anyway, I managed to implement four scenes today. I didn't have to write them, though, as I did that last week. I just implemented them. I am now finished with "Chapter 2" and I'm two scenes into Chapter 3. I have only three scenes left, but the next scene is an investigation scene, and I had an idea for a simple minigame I want to implement as well. I also still need to test these scenes extensively, and I never managed to finish a particular gameplay section in Scene 9 that I need to go back and do, so there's still plenty of work left for the remaining six days.
As I said in my update, the goal is to make a post for every day of this week as I finish all the remaining scenes before the 1st of October. While I don't think I can stop working on all the other things on my plate like I wanted to — as I have commission work that needs my attention on top of everything else — I am going to try to work on Pageturner 3 for at least three hours every day. That should be enough time to create the remaining scenes.
Until next time,
