Weekly devlog time again! I won't beat myself up too much over still not finishing the backgrounds, because I actually feel like I got a lot done this week.
In addition to completing a background (which was the one that I said could get out of hand), I completed another music track and also worked on the UI, getting it ready for implementing the translation and adding a quick menu to the dialog box. Since that means the UI is now ready to go for the two non-mystery chapters, that bumps it up to 40% complete.
My goal for the end of next week is............ still finishing the backgrounds! Fortunately, the remaining backgrounds are all fairly small interior locations.
