Surprise! There's a new thing! https://lockedon.itch.io/methods
Methods is based on a novel I began writing in 2014. It is one of my longest projects, coming in at 100K words. I started converting the novel to a visual novel four years ago, however I took a long break while I was creating Broken Minds and other projects. I haven't written more of the novel since 2016.
Currently the novel version has 55 chapters written out of 100. Converting these chapters to visual novel
Well, it's been an intense thirteen days — to clarify, I started creating this project on March 12th. At the beginning of the day, I had no idea I would be making a NaNoRenO game. By the time I went to sleep, I had characters, a logo, a music track, and a full story outline — I work quickly, in other words! Thirteen days later, it's done.
You may be wondering, "If you work so fast, how come you never release anything?" Well, usually, the projects I make are much more diffic

In this update I finally announce the title of the Broken Minds sequel, and give a few details out about it — but there's also other exciting news that's worth checking it out for! https://store.steampowered.com/app/746420/Broken_Minds/?beta=0 I'm sorry it took so long — but its finally here! And with a 10% discount! (Which, by the way, I'll be echoing for itch.io and GameJolt shortly). Pretty exciting! I wonder how quickly the game will be lost in the swamp of the millions of other games. Probably pretty fast. But I really shouldn't focus on that right now, and enjoy the small window that releasing to a huge platform like Steam provides. So — what's ne
Just a quick follow up on my last post! (First time I've posted twice in a day, sorry, don't mean to spam anyone...) Click the banner to go to Broken Minds's Game Jolt page, or, alternatively, you can buy it right within this post, using this handy widget! I held off so long on releasing the game on multiple sites because updating the game becomes much trickier when you have to upload builds. And I'm already running into this problem: I want to fix one tiny thing, which is th
Yes, it's true!! What was supposed to happen yesterday happened today, but I'm still excited. The game is five dollars, but tomorrow I'll work on creating a free demo version. There's also a new trailer, sort of slapped together, but I wanted to have it out for release day. That's all for now. I have more work ahead of me with this game, I can tell, but soon I'll finally be able to start releasing Games Updates and news more regularly. My new plan is — don't reveal EVERYTHING
Today, on November 1st, 2017, I completed Broken Minds. 25 years ago, in the quiet prefecture of Yamagata, a horrific, eccentric incident occurred. Now the story can finally be told. --- So, here's the thing. I REALLY, REALLY wanted to release this game today. But itch has a file size limit for uploads (which calls to mind a certain OTHER file size limit that's gotten under my skin more than a few times). I've reached out to itch's support, but I don't think they're going to
Hooray! Twelve days past the deadline, Pageturner: Something Other is finally done! I'm currently getting the behind-the-scenes pages finished for the printed version. It hasn't been an easy or particularly fun road, but I'm finally at the end, and honestly, it didn't turn out that bad. I'm forewarning you, though: there ARE some heavily expositional scenes in this comic. Mostly because it's so hard to fit a complicated story like this into 17 pages. What? It's only 17 pages,
You have no idea how good it feels to finally say that! Anyway, my work is still not done. Though the animation is indeed complete, the story's not over yet. In fact, the most exciting part has yet to come... More details will be available soon through a new update! -- LockedOn. #theevolvingworld #part4 #release
